This month felt like an extension of July but in the best way possible. The birthday celebrations, seeing friends and close ones, and being out and socializing were so needed. Especially the summer one year post-grad, it’s a blessing to see my old friends and family. I think I spent time with myself this summer. August, I was able to see that giving myself time is so important. After work or major events, time to yourself is needed. I advise you not to overwork yourselves, Angels. You should take care of both your mind AND body.
I can’t wait to see what September has in store for me. The -ber months are officially here, and we are ready for it, girls! The warm chai on a cool day, matching sets, wavy hair-dos, boots, and fall fashion! I absolutely love layering: sweaters, cardigans, my trench coat!

Beauty
Elf Halo Glow is a product I have used for many summers now. It gives that dewy glow for anyone who likes that instead of a matte finish. It works as an illuminator under your makeup and leaves your face highlighted in the sun. I recommend not putting on too much because it will look heavy.
Obsessed
The Angel Cake and Cream set from Victoria’s Secret is a nice transition from summer to fall because the scent is sweet. I love the warm scent it gives off, and it really isn’t too strong. This scent on a sweater or a cozy hoodie works. The vibes are very girly and warm.

And this is a pic of my room! Oh my God! I finally had a chance to decorate it because I found my interests this year. For the past four years, I was at university, so duh, I had no time to do anything like that. I was either out of the house or living in a messy room that had physics and calculus notes everywhere and mugs of chai or coffee. Now I work from home and have taken the time to make my space truly MINE. I feel like I can’t leave at times because it has just become this space where I create ideas and find peace.
Jewelry
My Angel necklace has been worn by me this month. It just works! I like the word duh; I also like the style and edge it gives to a simple fit. I’ve been wearing lots of white and black, so this accessorized the choice well. I am surprised I never liked necklaces like this. Honestly, a lot I’ve been doing and wearing lately has been things I grew up not liking. For example, this style of necklace, fitted tops, mini skirts, and boots in the summer. And now that is exactly what my style has become.

Mini-Skirts! Oh gosh, I think I styled them in August so much. It turns an outfit so girly. Compared to shorts, the whole vibe of the fit changes.
This outfit had to be my favorite.
It was just an errands day, but I ended up having my hair in heatless soft curls, this white top and a light blue denim skirt, paired with my black cowgirl boots. This was a cute end-of-summer fit. The boots matched the purse, so it worked. Now that Autumn is coming, I would find a way to incorporate fall aspects to a mini-skirt fit.
Lip Combo
My lip combo was finally discovered by understanding that everything that I put on my lips turns purple or pink. So, to balance it out and make it a pinkish brown, I used NYX’s lip liner in the shade Cold Brew. I’m aware of the new formula, so yes, the new version, with e.l.f.’s Glow Reviver Lip Oil Glimmer in the shade Candy Coded.
