These earrings have to be one of my favorites in the collection! Each earring has 3 dangling jumkas, white and emerald green beads, and stones all over. I absolutely adore the shape of the top, making the earrings mirror one another. When worn, it can face inward or outward. Your choice.
First style
Here is one way. A simple white kurti is a staple and something in every desi girl’s closet! It can be any style of kurti, but a longer kurti would work with the earrings better. Wear it to keep the top a canvas, add color, and let the earrings do the talking. They are sparkly, so for any simple outing or dinner, this is a fun choice.
Another way to style them: Kurta-style tunic with a sharara/gharara-style bottom. On the more traditional side, the earring can elevate the fit. If the top of this is a lighter green, the earring would help with a monochrome style. It has darker green beads that pair well with a lighter kurti top.
Bolder drape
Another lovely way to style it is with a sari. A bold green or even a lighter hue. The earrings might also pair well with a cream sari as well! Overall bringing attention to the color choice and style of the earrings themselves.
For desi women, the outfit is one of two things:
– enhance the drape with jewelry
– the drape is the main attraction.
So here, the best option is to let the sari be the main priority, and the jewelry is a stunning choice of accessory. The earrings are small, but have a unique design. When that is the case, have your hair behind one ear, or a classic half up half down hair-do.
